They tend to feel anxious, stuck or empty despite being successful in their careers. They're used to working or living in a high-pressure environment and noticing how hard it is to maintain this lifestyle and keep the stress at bay. High performance comes at a cost and many times it’s our mental health that pays the price. Some may struggle with perfectionism. Sometimes what has "always worked" just doesn't cut it anymore and it can feel like no matter how much we try, its not enough.
My approach to therapy is one of creating an empathic and non-judgmental space where I actively collaborate with you to help you better understand yourself. I’ll actively listen to your story, ask questions, and we will have a conversation. We’ll explore your strengths, what’s working/what’s not, so that we can identify challenges and chart a way forward.

I am experienced in treating college law students and lawyers, as well as healthcare professionals of other disciplines. I hold a cultural competency certification for veterans and first responders, and a separate certification for military culture through the VHA.
I tend to work with clients who struggle with imposter syndrome, perfectionism, anxiety, burnout, career pressure, stress, grieving a loss, relationship challenges, and more. Early sessions will consist of getting to know each other and you sharing your experiences. We'll explore what you've tried, what you value in life, and what we can do in spite of the struggles.

I am well versed in CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution Focused. I have experience in using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and I am continuing to develop competency in with this mode of treatment.
